GUNITE/SHOTCRETE/TUNNELING

Gunite, a method of surfacing or resurfacing large-diameter pipe / tunnels and ravines. The process involves spraying a dry mix of concrete through a nozzle over a reinforced surface. Shotcrete is similar to gunite with the exception of using a wet mix usually premixed and delivered as ready mix. Both methods use reinforced steel or hardening fibers to reinforce the structure then the concrete mixture is blown onto the surface.
